I have been a fan and an off-and-on participant of NaNoWriMo (i.e., National Novel Writing Month) over the years. In 2011, I achieved the goal of 50,000 words. November is one of the worst months for most people to try and write that much in thirty days. But, I suppose, that’s why it’s such a great month to try, because if you can do it then, you can do it all year long if you want to.
I didn’t write a story or a traditional novel. I wrote about my thoughts and my life and everything that was going on then. Six years later, I have yet to gain the courage to actually read what I wrote then. Perhaps you will get something out of it before I do. ♥
