How to get around this site

This website is composed of seven parts which can be navigated through the top row of graphic icons: front page, music, film & video, pictures, writing, questions and contact.

The front page highlights new and/or important content within the website.

The music page houses a browsable and searchable song database for my entire collection of over 200 released songs. You can also listen to new music temporarily released through SoundCloud.

The film page presents my work in film and video. You can watch samples of my work as a film music composer and actor. You can also watch my music videos, musicals and episodes of The John Paul Sharp Show.

The pictures page contains several slideshows of my favorite pictures. There are pictures of my performances, a photoshoot by MaryLynn Gillaspie, and even in drag. Because I am also a photographer of sorts, I present my pictures of the Denver sky and my beloved cats.

The written page icon represents my writings. Here you can read my poetry, my stories and the script to My Big Phat Gay Musical. This area also features my work in Songwriting Education, with a small edWeb on Using an Image to Write a Song and a modification of Settlers of Catan for songwriters.

The questions page is what you are reading now. You can also find my artist statement, bio, cv and resumé in this section.
